For people at that time, reading is necessary for their survival. That is why a lot of ordinary people read and studied seriously every day. Today, the situation is very similar. Although we do not read for survival, we do it for personal development. I can learn a lot of knowledge from books to enhance our abilities and skills. Reading also motivate us to be civilized people. However, the young generation today reads for the sake of reading. Because of the exams, they only read textbooks. They do not have time to read famous novels and poems. In my opinion, as students, we should read more books besides our textbooks. We should also read more often to develop ourselves.
