I think,the first obvious feature of action movies is that it involves at least one hero in the story,who is often brave,smart and unselfish.
Besides,the battle scenes which involve large number of soldiers,planes and weapons vividly present a picture of what wars were actually like.
According to it,I think one rule to comment on action movies is,if people can learn more about history through watching this kind of film,and if the film respects the history.
Secondly,it is important that the wars and battles should present to us a vivid picture like a real one.
Thirdly,and also most importantly,people after watching the film feel like appreciating the bravery and unselfishness of those heros in war films.
